We had a fantastic stay at The Barn Cabins & Camp. The location right at Abel Tasman NP was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings. The cabin we stayed in was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and clean bedding. We loved the kitchen/dining area, which had everything we needed for cooking. The toilets and showers had good pressure and were always clean. The laundry facilities were convenient, and we enjoyed using the outdoor games like pool, table tennis, and badminton. The free yoga classes were a great bonus. Despite being on a farm, the cabin was tidy and free of cobwebs. I highly recommend this place for a quality holiday.

The location was perfect, right next to the starting point of the famous Abel Tasman Walking Track. The cabins were cute and had a cozy atmosphere. The best part was the recreational area, where I spent my evenings soaking up the sun and enjoying a cup of tea. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what I needed for my Easter getaway.
The cabins were a bit spaced out, so I had to walk a bit more to get to the bathroom or showers. , the glass windows in the cabins made them really hot in the morning, like a greenhouse.

The location of the Barn Cabins & Camp is fantastic, right at the edge of the Abel Tasman National park. It is a great base for exploring the park and is conveniently close to the park entrance. being situated in front of the beach provides a stunning view and easy access to the water.
Some guests mentioned that the facilities can get overcrowded, especially during peak times, which may affect the overall experience.

I recently stayed at The Barn Cabins & Camp for a weekend getaway. The cozy and homely atmosphere was the perfect retreat. The indoor lounge area with hanging lights, hammocks, and deck chairs created a relaxing vibe. The movie room had a huge selection that kept us entertained. The clean and comfortable cabins, along with helpful staff, made our stay enjoyable. The constant fire and tidy toilets were nice touches. The abundance of hammocks, decks, and a volleyball net would be perfect for a summer visit. I'm definitely planning to return during the warmer months!
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The Barn Cabins & Camp is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Abel Tasman National Park. Located right on the beach and at the beginning of the main trails, it offers easy access to the stunning natural surroundings. the comfortable rooms provide a peaceful retreat after a day of hiking, and the friendly staff ensures a warm welcome. the communal spaces, such as the kitchen and outdoor seating areas, provide ample opportunity to relax and socialize with other guests.
During busy periods, the shared wooden platform area can be a bit noisy, which may disrupt the tranquility of the family rooms.

The cabins at The Barn were clean and comfortable, with spacious hot showers and cozy living areas. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings and the nearby national park. Plus, there were plenty of activities to do, including watching the stunning sunsets and relaxing in the hammocks. The facilities, such as the movie room and multiple kitchens, were a great addition, ensuring a comfortable and social atmosphere.
While staying at the cabins, I found that the noise of birds walking on the roof could be quite loud at times. the temperature of the showers was not always reliable, occasionally becoming extremely hot and almost causing discomfort.

Great facilities, including a fully equipped kitchen and clean showers. Friendly staff and a cute dog onsite. Convenience shop in reception for food and barista coffees. Enjoyed the hammocks and the beautiful location near Abel Tasman National Park. Close to the beach and a cafe. Good value for money.
Felt like treated like royalty, nothing was too much trouble.

Cosy cabins with stunning views of the national park and beach. the outdoor shower was a great touch and had fantastic pressure and temperature. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the national park and close to all the outdoor activities.
The shared kitchen/lounge areas were often crowded, making it difficult to use. the bathrooms could have been cleaner, especially the shower mats which were frequently wet.

The rooms were cozy and clean, providing a comfortable stay. the staff promptly resolved any issues and even refunded our entire amount for a room mix-up. the outdoor showers had great pressure and temperature, and the beautiful views of the sunrise and sunset were a treat. the location was perfect, just a short 2-minute walk to the National Park, making it convenient for exploring.
There were a couple of downsides during our stay. large groups occupied the shared kitchen and lounge areas, leaving little space for others.

We had a fantastic stay at this accommodation right on the edge of the Abel Tasman National Park. the location was amazing, with breathtaking views of the ocean and Abel Tasman foothills. the staff were friendly and the grounds well-kept. the kitchen was large and clean, with a real communal atmosphere and a cozy fireplace. the private single room cabin we stayed in was cute and clean.
The only drawback was dealing with the mosquitoes, so make sure to keep them out!

We got great value for our money with a cozy and comfortable room that had an amazing ocean view. The location was perfect, right by the beach and the Abel Tasman walk, and the staff treated us wonderfully, giving us helpful recommendations and even selling local craft beers and ciders at their shop.
The breakfast could have been better with more options and variety.
